LITTLE MADISON HAS STARTED TO CRAWL (OR RATHER SCOOT.) IT IS SUCH AN EXCITING TIME TO SEE HOW MUCH SHE CHANGES EVERY DAY. YESTERDAY WE WERE PLAYING ON MY BED AND SHE FELL FORWARD. MADISON HAS ALWAYS HATED TUMMY TIME WITH A PASSION SO THIS TIME WAS DIFFERENT. SHE FELL ON HER TUMMY AND STARTED TO SCOOT FORWARD! ANY DAY NOW SHE WILL BE A FULL ON CRAWLER! I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED ON THE PROGRESS.

MY VERY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY

WHAT A SPECIAL MORNING THIS HAS BEEN! IT IS MY VERY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY AS A MOM!!! JUSTIN GAVE ME THE BEST GIFT OF ALL WHICH WAS TO SLEEP IN!!!!!! ( SOMETHING I NEVER GET TO DO ANYMORE) HE THEN WOKE ME TO BREAKFAST IN BED. IT WAS SO CUTE! LITTLE MADISON WAS ALL PROPPED UP IN HER CHAIR WITH A BIG RED PILLOW THAT SAID, "I LOVE MY MAMA." IT WAS SO CUTE! NOW I AM GOING TO REST ALL DAY UNTIL DINNER TIME WHERE MY MOM AND JUSTIN'S PARENTS ARE ALL GOING OUT FOR SOME YUMMY ITALIAN FOOD.

BUT THE BEST GIFT BY FAR IS THE BEAUTIFUL FAMILY JUSTIN AND I HAVE CREATED.....

THE BIRTH OF MADISON VICTORIA EILEEN JAMES

Oh my goodness!! I forgot to post about the birth of our little monkey!

Well anyways, Madison Victoria Eileen James was born on September 19thy 2008 at 1:09 am. She was 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. I had a very long labor. I was in active labor for 27 hours. I came to the hospital with mild contractions only to find out I had only dialated 2 centimeters. I was checked by the nurse and found out that I had very high blood pressure so they decided to check me in and induce me.
I had a rough labor but was surrounded by my family the whole time.

WE ELOPED!!!!

After 4 and a half years of being together and over a year of being engaged we did it.... WE ELOPED!!!
On December 19th 2008 we woke up and decided to go and get married. We had been planning a wedding but It was taking so long to plan and we just wanted to get married. We didn't need some big fancy wedding to prove that we loved each other. Justin and I always did things differently and this was no exception. We just went to the Culver City courthouse and met our friend Haig who was our witness. My mom helped me get ready and I went and got a beautiful pink bouquet.
It was very special. We sat at the courthouse watching 0ther nervous couples wait to get there turn to go into the chapel. After we went and had a wonderful dinner at The Cheesecake factory. No one knew but us, haig and my mom (my mom would have not known either but someone needed to baby sit our little girl) . After we called everyone and they were either shocked and happy or shocked and upset that we did not have a big wedding. It may have not been what people wanted us to do but ultimetly it was our wedding and it was a beautiful day we both will never forget.

P.S. I do however hate my wedding photos. I was 50 pounds heavier then I am now and HATE the way I look. I will share them here because It is our blog but please mind my tubby behind. Ha Ha.

All Because Two People Fell In Love And They Lived Happily Ever After.....

The love story all began on June 21st 2004. I had met Justin through my cousin, Amanda. I was currently in a long distance relationship with a guy named, Brian that was just not working out. Amanda and her friend Hailee were having a summer party at my parents house. I came to the party and saw this cute guy across he room. I instantly wanted to know who this guy was. The next day I went to Amanda and described what the guy I had seen looked like. She was having a hard time thinking of who this mystery guy might be. Saying tall, dark, and handsome was a very hard description was a very broad description. She said, "Oh!!! That's Justin!" I asked her if he has an aol screen name. ( that was the way us hip teenagers communicated.) She said he did and that night I messaged him. We began this long chatting conversation and set a date to meet. Amanda, her friend Nicole, and I all went to the local mall and we were going to meet Justin. I was so nervous for this night and I had changed my clothes about a dozen times.I will never forget the moment of walking into the third street promenade and feeling like I was going to throw up. I was soooo nervous! This was the guy I had seen and had been talking to for months!! We started walking and I knew we were supposed to meet in the foods court. We got there and I see this guy walking towards Amanda. I thought it was someone who Amanda knew from school. She was very popular so It had to be a friend from school. I knew I was wrong when I heard Amanda say, "Justin this is Katherine." I died! This was not the guy I had seen at the party!!!!!!!!! I could not panic. I had to breathe. What was I supposed to say your not the guy and run. No I could not do that! I insisted that we see a movie. Dark theatre, sound... perfect! We would not have to talk that way but Amanda insisted we went to eat. So to sum this up....We ate. I ignored Justin. He starred at me like I was a tall glass of ice water and he had been in a desert for 7 months and had only been able to brink buckets of sand. IT WAS AWKWARD! I left that night and told Amanda he was not the guy and I never wanted to see him again.! That night he messaged me and we started talking yet again. I found myself talking to him every day and no matter how much I tried not I wanted to see him again. We met and had lunch. The butterflies paid my stomach a visit yet again that day. He was so sweet and kind and polite and treated me like a queen. (That was something I had not had much of from guys.) No matter what I did and how hard I tried to prevent it I fell in love with Justin James. I know people have a lot to say about the fact that he was 15 and I was 18. But I will tell you this. Love is not prejudice. It does not care if someone is 3 years younger, older, black, white or purple. Love is LOVE and I feel head over heels in love with Justin James.........
